The Holy Spirit is the comforter in all times of need. In this painting a woman is reaching out for Christ, the only one who can help her. He is your comforter and your provider. Any obstacles that may arise are no match for Him. He will always be there with His hand, ready to pull you up.
“Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. ‘You of little faith,’ he said, ‘why did you doubt?’” (Matthew 14:22-33)
