People are always fearful of tsunamis, especially people who live on coastlines. There have been prophecies about California having a high-level earthquake on the Richter scale, and we’ve already seen the overwhelming power of a tsunami’s destruction with Japan.
The thought of a tsunami brings fear, as they seem like monsters to us. I want to share with you this painting that I made based on a dream the Lord gave me. In the dream there was a spiritual tsunami. The dream began with scattered chaos. People ran to the mountains, and there was a church with only its columns left, as the church was in ruins. Everyone ran to it as though they knew it was their refuge. The season was winter, early winter; the color of the mountains was a vivid blue and white because of their snowcaps.
All of a sudden, over the sky in the distance a tsunami came, but not from the ocean. It came from the clouds and it was an actual tsunami. It was simply covering the people, but I felt very strongly that there was no fear. The color was very bright and vivid and appeared with glory. I felt revival coming like a tsunami, but not from the ocean—from heaven.
I never forgot about this dream, so I decided to paint it. The people in the painting are in chaos, just like the beginning of the dream. The blue mountains represent revelation. And then there is glory, not fear, and the Holy Spirit is coming to us. So let’s expect a spiritual tsunami in our lives first and for our neighbors, and city, then state and country, etc.
